Tick-Tock

I have become a follower of your work today and think it's wonderfully different and you're very talented. But I will try and come up with something constructive to say about this lovely piece!

It is no great secret that I am struggling with colouring or more to the point shading and lighting etc... Although having said that I have been doing a lot of research since my last piece (Secrets) and so have picked up one of two bits which I hope to help myself from [link] ...so I will get on with the commenting now,


I love how you've done the colouring and too perhaps think a bit more shading wouldn't go a miss on this piece unless she is litterally surrounded by lighting! I love the skull, flowers and hat I think they're brilliant and very well done but again a bit of shading might enhance that! I am very interested in what you have done with the hair although I slightly feel like there is a piece missing from her left side although agree that to have included it would cover up that lovely steampunk large clock and chains in the background. I feel a little shading between the wall and the floor on the floor would increase depth to the image. Over all however I think you've done an amazing job. The lips seem a little cut out like they're not a part of the same picture but that's just me. I totally adore what you have done and the thought and such which went into this interesting piece which is deffinitly original, creative and insperational. I really love her dress the most and think the pattern on her chest along with the shading and such is lovley... I really love all clocks and suhc in the background and feel you did very well with your colour choice.
